The way that I found that works for me is listening in class to lectures and to the class discussions. Though this is one of those things that seems obvious, for me however it really helps, then while taking the tests I recall the discussions and topics that we covered. The other way that helps is going over my notes to help with the definition or key figures. The one thing I need to get better at however is studying more often and a week before that way I feel less rushed.

Do you just play the recorded lectures and listen? This semester I’ve started listening to some classes at times 2 and play it in the background. As I do homework and just pause or take of my headphone to focus more. Its helped a lot in combining my upper division class and my introduction ones to help draw conclusions in both.
