What a great hash tag. Sounds like a real campaign slogan. With that being said, I’m really interested in how our generation will act in regards to the new ecosystem way of thinging.

I love that the newest teaching regiments for fisheries and natural management has really started to become cross disciplinary, and allowed for our managers to make wide and detailed protocols for each varying area. Making for a greater ecosystem effort.

Do you just play the recorded lectures and listen? This semester I’ve started listening to some classes at times 2 and play it in the background. As I do homework and just pause or take of my headphone to focus more. Its helped a lot in combining my upper division class and my introduction ones to help draw conclusions in both.

I felt that I had the same game plan for the essay. The information that has been ingested and looked over should provide a strong baseline, with good time management. The out come should be decent. When it came to getting an editor to work with me I had troubles and felt worried or rushed. Next time I’m just going to print, draw, and scan what needs it. While typing up the other half.

I’m glad Alaska’s cold water are pretty stable for fishing. If not it could be dreadful if we over fished them during a warm sea’s period.

This would definitely been beneficial because people will be displaced from their normal practicing fishery jobs and have to find other work. What do you think of the breakdown of money. Right now there’s lots of captains getting a cut of the stock. After it would be family’s owning farms.

People have to make a lively hoods in each environment. So if fish farms become even more exceptional in product, there would be a job transfer. Do you think the transfer will have farmed fishing at the same kind of places where we have fisheries today, or would they be based on satisfactory of rearing area.

Carrying capacity is definitely a better angle than MSY. I dont like have economics running everything, to much greed involved. More political ecologist so we can have a social perspective of management.

I agree with your take away from the reading. But if something is lost do to any number of reasons should we replace its nitch with something else? Such as if we produce coral that will survive lower pH providing homes for organisms during the lag time of re-balancing the oceans for life at that toxicity.

No i do not. But we have the ability to still feel this way. One day it may not be so simple and we may need to design solution to fit the gaps.

What about lowering ph of the ocean. Causing most organisms to have to work harder to grow in the first place. Should we be putting better adapted fish in to a world already losing nutrients.
